Time captivates me; it's intriguing to observe how people manage, waste, utilise, fear, enjoy, or wish for time to pass at different speeds. Over the past year, many people including myself have shared similar concerns about time, often raising these questions:
And the list continues! Struggling with time management is a widespread issue manifesting as ineffective time use, procrastination, or feeling overwhelmed by deadlines. This challenge often arises from psychological, neurological, and cultural factors. We're seeing a concerning increase in burnout, with many feeling they have NO time. My interest in time and how people choose to allocate it is sincere. Each of us has 24 hours in a day. No more. No less. We all receive the same amount of time each day. No more. No less. On average, we sleep between 6-9 hours daily, which still leaves us with ample time!
Take back control today by dedicating just 10 minutes to yourself: slow down, breathe, and show yourself some compassion. There are no magical solutions. There is no mystical book to read. There is no extraordinary clock that will grant you extra time. There is no magical figure to guide you on how to spend your time. Ultimately, it comes down to you waking up and realising that you have only 24 hours each day, and you alone hold the power to decide how to spend that time. This realisation might demand significant changes in your life, possibly even requiring you to let go of certain people or things, but deep down, you know what those elements are. It then depends on whether you have the courage to take ACTION. No one will do it for you. No one will come to direct you. Believe in yourself and take control of your time!
